２０１２年６月、着物＆和文化講師エルティング孝子により着物会として発足。

着物でおでかけ

 

着物を着てレストランでお食事するなど、おでかけをしています。

着付けのお手伝いが必要な方はお手伝いいたします。

日本に関するイベントなどで着物レディとしてボランティアをしています。

着物を着る良い機会にもなりますし、イベント主催スタッフや来場者達にも

喜ばれています。

 

和のワークショップ

　　

「和」に関するワークショップを不定期で開催しております。

Portland Kimono Club is a community for those in and around the Portland metro area who are interested in the wearing of traditional Japanese Kimono. 

It was formed by Kimono and Japanese cultural instructor, Takako Elting in June of 2012.

Regular activities include wearing a kimono and going to a restaurant for lunch or dinner as well as attending a variety of classes and workshops along with volunteering for other social events, highlighting the Kimono.  Event planners and guests enjoy the opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture.
